Gwynith Hoffman-Robinson, PhD    Postdoctoral Resident

Dr. Gwynith Hoffman-Robinson has been involved in the mental health field since 2001.  She received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University.  Her education and research focused on individual, couple, and family relationships.  Her clinical experience includes providing counseling for individuals, couples, and families at Friends of the Family in Van Nuys, California, and for individuals, couples, and groups at the University of Washington and North Seattle Community College Counseling Centers.  Dr. Hoffman-Robinson is an adjunct faculty member at North Seattle Community College and Antioch University, Seattle.  She currently leads the Addictions Group at Opal.

Dr. Hoffman-Robinson’s clinical work is grounded in interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral therapy.  She provides a flexible and compassionate relational approach to the treatment of individuals with body image, eating, and substance use concerns.
