Terrie Green Jones, RD, CD Primary Dietitian
Terrie is a graduate of Bastyr University with an emphasis in whole foods nutrition. With the seed planted early in her college education to work with the eating disorder population, she spent part of her internship at Mirasol Treatment Center in AZ. She has experience in all levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment programs. Terrie embraces the multi-disciplinary model with its emphasis on treating the whole person by a team of professionals who share this same vision. She incorporates “hands on” experientials in her work with clients including sharing and processing meals, and restaurant and grocery store outings. She also does individual nutrition assessment and counseling that includes family involvement as deemed appropriate to nutrition in the recovery process. She believes nutrition education should be interactive and fun, connecting with all types of learning styles using visual models and practical application in the process. “Set Point Weight” theory, also known as “Health at Every Size” philosophy is part of her treatment model. Terrie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, National Eating Disorders Association, Behavioral Health Dietetic Practice Group, and registered as a Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
