Jeren is an Agency Affiliated Counselor ( CG61562984) in the
State of Washington.
With a B.S in Psychology from University of Washington, he is extremely interested in the intersection of biomedical and social sciences as they relate to mental health recovery. Jeren believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to understand how they work and the complex roles biology, past experiences, societal structures, and systems of oppression play in one’s identity and felt experience. Jeren uses IFS, ACT, and RO-DBT to help build understanding and intentionally choose to live into values in spite of old patterns. Jeren intends to continue his training in medical school and become a psychiatrist who practices with the HAES model and is a proud student affiliate of AWSIM. Outside of work Jeren enjoys snowboarding, pickleball, backpacking, and DJing. The restorative power of nature, dancing, and connection to community are important to Jeren and are things he would love to share with others.
