Psychiatric Nurse Pracitioner
Uses She/Her pronouns
Zsuzsanna “Zsuzsi” Balogh, DNP, PMHNP-BC (she/her) is a psychiatric nurse practitioner in the state of Washington ( # ARNP.AP.70027847-NP).
Zsuzsi’s work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep respect for the complexity of healing. As a Hungarian American, mother, wife, and clinician, she brings both professional expertise and lived understanding of identity, resilience, and the pressure many people carry to appear “okay” while struggling internally.
Zsuzsi was drawn to mental health work through a longstanding interest in the connection between emotional suffering, relationships, self-worth, and the stories people carry about themselves. She values helping clients better understand patterns that once served a purpose while building more compassionate and sustainable ways of relating to food, body, emotions, and self. Her therapeutic style combines warmth, reflection, honesty, and collaboration. She believes healing happens through greater self-awareness, flexibility, and connection.
Zsuzsi earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Seattle University and has experience working across outpatient and higher-acuity psychiatric settings. She approaches medication management thoughtfully and collaboratively, integrating psychotherapy into her work whenever possible. She has professional interest and advanced training in various mental health, neurodevelopmental, and substance use disorders, as well as psychopharmacology.
