Cicely is dedicated to increasing awareness and access to compassionate, non-judgmental, patient-centered mental health treatment. She is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and has worked in the mental health field since 2009. She was born and raised in the Southeast, and obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Troy University in Alabama. She later completed a post master’s program at the University of South Alabama specializing as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2017. She has a varied background, including education and providing mental health services in inpatient, outpatient, primary care mental health integration, Veterans services, and community focused care. She lives in Alabama with her husband, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.
