Hal is an Agency Affiliated Counselor and currently studying for a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He has worked and volunteered in a variety of mental health roles since 2015, from youth summer camps to crisis response. Hal’s interest in the field is rooted in their own experiences witnessing disordered eating in their communities. He is passionate about advocating for a nuanced and intersectional approach to treatment that acknowledges the impact of racism, ableism, cisnormativity and other lived experiences of oppression on clients. Hal hopes to bring levity and a sense of connection to their work every day.
