Jacky is a Registered Agency Affiliate Counselor in the State of Washington (CG61484625).
Jacky is a current graduate student at Naropa University in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling – Mindfulness and Transpersonal Counseling program. She is passionate about intersectional liberation and challenging convention grounded in mindful awareness. She is a strong advocate for the healing and restorative power of spending time in nature and in community. While most often found reading for school, hiking around Mount Tahoma and the Puget Sound, or snuggling her twin pugs, she is also a social butterfly and enjoys connecting with people wherever she goes, especially over food! Jacky shows up at Opal with an eagerness to build healing relationships with clients and community through authenticity, supporting a holistic understanding and embodiment of health and wellness, with the belief that within relationships we also shift our broader culture and challenge oppressive and exclusionary norms. She is particularly interested in somatic psychotherapy, spirituality, mindfulness, queer/LGBTQIA+ issues, gender affirming care, systems of oppression, social justice, depression/anxiety, OCD, sex positive, diverse relational orientations, and client centered approach.
