Maggie is licensed in the State of Washington as a Nurse Practitioner (AP60014560).

Maggie’s path to Opal has been shaped by years of walking alongside people during some of the most vulnerable and transformative moments of their lives. As a midwife, she witnessed how body image, cultural expectations, and trauma influence the way people experience their bodies and health. These experiences sparked her passion for mental health and her commitment to supporting people as they heal their relationship with food, body, and self.

At Opal, Maggie brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s story. She integrates her background in midwifery, somatic therapies, and mindfulness with her ongoing training as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She is particularly interested in the unique mental health needs of people who identify as women, trauma, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, and in helping people find safety and connection in their bodies.

Outside of her professional work, Maggie explores art as a way to express emotion and access different parts of the brain. She also loves to move her body in playful ways—whether through dance, pickleball, or rollerskating—as a reminder that movement can be both liberating and fun.
