Tara moved to WA to attend graduate school where she graduated in 2022 with a Master’s in Theology. She is fascinated by the human experience and the intersection of story, what the mind makes of it, and how the body knows it. She believes in the dignity and value of all humans and that experiencing love, joy and acceptance is healing to all of us.
After graduating Tara stumbled into a job in eating disorder recovery, which she has found to be a great fit. She had worked for years with vulnerable populations; including the elderly, the homeless and the mentally ill. She enjoys the work of bringing playful curiosity and care to those who find themselves facing life’s transitions.
Tara is a mother to four amazing and challenging teenagers who bring her a lot of joy, and occupy much of her time and energy. She loves being around people and having deep and connecting conversations. She loves what is. She also enjoys board and card games, watching tv, eating with loved ones, and doing art. She is a collage artist and uses art to explore and express her felt reality of life.
