Originally from the Bay Area in California, Lilah moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, where she received a BA in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. During her time at UW, Lilah developed a passion for supporting people during vulnerable moments in their lives. Believing that with support, every person is capable of recovery, Lilah is driven to help others find freedom, peace, and understanding in their lives, bodies, and relationships. Lilah hopes to earn a Doctorate in clinical psychology to address how systems of oppression, cultural context, and lived experiences impact mental health recovery. Lilah is excited to join the Opal team to learn from talented clinicians and gain hands-on clinical experience.
Lilah has professional interests in behavioral therapies, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), perinatal mental health support, value-based living, and family and relationship therapy.
As a major extrovert, Lilah loves to spend her free time with her friends and loved ones. You can often find her swimming in Lake Washington, playing card games, reading, and spending time outdoors.
